Harpford Weather

This was the 2nd episode of snow in March 2018, coming after the snow and freezing rain at the start of the month. On the 17th, a cold easterly arrived with a little light snow settling over hills. A little more fell overnight followed by heavier snow on the 18th and overnight into the 19th.

Depths on some surfaces were slightly higher than those seen on the 1st March. The temperatures were not quite as cold as early March and ground temperatures were warmer meaning the snow melted more on roads, and some other surfaces from underneath.

The maximum on the 18th briefly reached 0.4
°C, before dropping below freezing as the main snow arrived.

On the 20th, temperatures were back up to 9°C and most of the snow had gone by the end of the day.
